- Project description:This is a project on behalf of the Principal, Isaac Regional Council (IRC).This project is to upgrade a section of Peak Downs Mine Access Road, between Cha. 1.386-2.500.Construction works with the aim of Rehabilitation and widening of the existing alignment:It will include:• Road formation widening to 11.0m and comprising of 2 x 3.5m wide traffic lanes with 2m wide sealed shoulders.• Supply and installation of insitu stabilised lightly bound base and Type 2.1 corrector course.• Widening construction of Type 2.3 unbound granular subbase and Type 2.1 Unbound Pavement and corrector course.• An initial Seal and Double/Double seal matching through lanes.• The construction of culverts in property accesses, and extension of RCBC and RCP culverts.Purpose of Request for Tender:To procure a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to implement the Works as set out above in accordance with the provided specification and drawings under the contract.Optional site meeting will be held on the 6 March 2025, see documents for further information.
