- Insurance Brokerage Services for a period of 36 monthsPower Retail Corporation (trading as Jacana Energy) is a Northern Territory government owned electricity retailer, established in 2014 pursuant to the Power Retail Corporation Act 2014 (NT). We are the Northern Territory-s largest electricity retailer providing electricity retail services to residential and small and large business customers throughout urban, rural, and remote areas. As an electricity retailer, we operate in a highly regulated industry, overseen by the independent industry regulator, the Utilities Commission of the Northern Territory. The purpose of this tender is to select a suitably qualified insurance broker who has the experience and knowledge to manage Jacana Energy-s insurance program for the period detailed in Annexure to the Conditions of Contract. These services will encompass placing all the corporation-s insurance programs, day-to-day management of the account, and claims management, and general advice on insurance matters.
