Details of the site inspection will be advised in the email and letters to tenderers.The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new playground and solid roof shade structure at Tannum Sands SS, located at 22 Waratah Cres, Tannum Sands QLD 4680, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.The works include a new solid roof shade structure over 10m2, new play equipment, new soft fall with rubber edging and reinstatement of the sand pit. The position of the building is at the front of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2025.Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders- licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
