Description:
Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors for the provision of Green Waste Mulching Services at various Council waste facilities across the Central Highlands region.This contract covers the on-site shredding/mulching of green waste (branches, logs, prunings, and similar vegetation) into a consistent mulch product, to support Council-s resource recovery and waste diversion goals. Services will include all labour, plant, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the works safely and efficiently in accordance with CHRC standards.Goods or Services Required:Supply and operation of mulching equipment (e.g. tub grinders, horizontal grinders)Mobilisation and demobilisation across multiple waste facility sitesMulching of stockpiled green waste to a consistent particle size (=75 mm)Neat stockpiling of mulch productSite clean-up and compliance with WHS and environmental standardsReporting of service outcomes (dates, volumes, issues, etc.)Expected Timing:Contract start date: 01 July 2025Initial contract period: 3 years (to 30 June 2028), with an option to extend for 1 further yearMulching services are expected to be carried out on an as-needed basis (typically 2-3 rounds per year at selected sites)Location of Delivery: Services will be delivered on-site at CHRC-s waste facilities, including (but not limited to):Emerald, Blackwater, Capella, Springsure, Tieri, Comet, Anakie, Bluff, Duaringa, Rolleston.Remote Service Provision...
