Description:
As part of the Commonwealth Leasing Strategy, the Department of Finance has advised the Department of Veterans- Affairs (DVA) and the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) that the entities are to undertake a Joint Approach to Market (JATM) to settle their property requirements in Adelaide. Whilst this RFT is made jointly, the entities may elect to procure future leasing accommodation independently of each other, entirely at the Commonwealth-s discretion. Throughout the RFT, where separate information is not provided for each entity, tenderers can assume the detail provided applies to both entities. DVA is seeking a net lettable area of 2,952 sqm, while the AEC is seeking 1,900 - 2,100 sqm. The total Commonwealth requirement in the JATM is 4,852 - 5,052 sqm. The Commonwealth is seeking an initial lease term of seven (7) years with two (2), three (3)-year options (i.e. 7+3+3). CBRE has been engaged to manage the JATM on behalf of the Commonwealth.
