Description:
EST02146 National Maritime Infrastructure Maintenance Program (NMIMP) aims to identify and remediate identified deficiencies in specific maritime structures requiring major capital investment to maximise their useful life. The project will be delivered across the following Defence establishments : · Fleet Base West - HMAS Stirling (Western Australia); · Fleet Base East - Garden Island Defence Precinct (GIDP) (New South Wales); · HMAS Coonawarra (Northern Territory); · Harold E Holt (HEH) Defence Precinct (Western Australia); and · Twofold Bay Ammunition Wharf (TBAW) (New South Wales), The Works may include structural remediation, corrosion protection, pavement upgrades, and the reinstatement of critical maritime infrastructure elements. This could involve activities such as pile wrapping and repairs, cathodic protection system upgrades, pavement and deck rehabilitation, and the restoration of mooring and berthing systems. In some locations, further investigation will be required to confirm site conditions, assess the extent of deterioration, and inform the Consultant-s deliverables in the Development Phase.
