Description:
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from organisations wishing to be listed as recognised contractors to tender for the proposed contracts for Byron Drainage Upgrade Town Centre Construction for drainage and road upgrade works.The EOI is the first stage of a multi-stage tender process. The objective of the EOI process is to identify and list recognised organisations that are interested in entering into the proposed contract and have suitable capacity, capability and experience. Council will then shortlist tenders to submit a tender for the required works. The EOI has be set up to match the tender requirements and details to limit rework for tenders to submit a final tender. This project aims to upgrade and enhance the transport and stormwater infrastructure along Byron lane, Byron street, Jonson Street, Fletcher street, Lawsons Street and Lateen Lane in Byron Bay. The scope of this project includes demolition of existing pavement and drainage infrastructure, Installation of new transport and drainage assets, installation of kerbs, concrete paths, crossings, and driveways. It also includes provision of new traffic islands, road signage, and line marking. This project is a key project to Byron Shire Council and aligns with the broader Byron Bay drainage strategy.
