The Inner West Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from highly qualified and experienced contractors for the Stage 2 upgrade works at Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre (LPAC). This project forms the second phase of a transformative, multi-staged redevelopment valued at $55.5 million, aimed at significantly enhancing this much-loved community facility and ensuring its long-term sustainability and functionality.This is a prestigious opportunity for contractors to be shortlisted and advance to the next stage of the procurement process, where they will be invited to submit a formal tender for this landmark project. Successful contractors will play a pivotal role in delivering a state-of-the-art aquatic centre, ensuring excellence in design, construction, and operational efficiency.Following the finalisation of the EOI and selective tender assessment process, you will be appointed as a Principal Contractor. In this role, you will lead the design management, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of critical infrastructure and facility upgrades. Your expertise will be instrumental in bringing this ambitious vision to fruition, significantly enhancing the amenity, accessibility, and sustainability of LPAC for generations to come.NOTE: THERE IS A MANDATORY SITE BRIEFING AT 9.30AM WED 9 APRIL.
