Translink (a Division of The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR)) is responsible for the delivery of buses, trains, ferries and trams across Queensland, with responsibility for regional bus services, demand responsive transit, taxi regulation and long-distance rail, coaches and regional air. Our vision and purpose are creating a single integrated network accessible to everyone. We partner with a range of Queensland service providers and government agencies to deliver high-quality public transport services, ticketing information and infrastructure. We are constantly improving our network and services to make it easier to use public transport. TMR established The Smart Ticketing Project to deliver a new innovative ticketing solution for Queensland public transport. The Smart Ticketing Project is responding to customer needs by providing more choice in how customers plan and pay for their public transport journeys.
