Description:
This project aims to : (a) support Australia and India-s shared objectives on climate and energy, under the India-Australia Renewable Energy Partnership. (b) address skills gaps in India-s renewable energy sector and build the capability of India-s solar energy workforce. (c) deliver on the objectives of A Partnership for the Future : Australia's education strategy for India by growing and diversifying Australian transnational education offerings. (d) support the aspirations of India-s National Education Policy to improve and expand vocational education. (e) act on identified bilateral priorities under the Australia-India education relationship and test a sustainable framework for bilateral cooperation in skill development and workforce development. (f) strengthen institutional partnerships in the education sector and partnerships with Indian industry that support future transnational education delivery opportunities. The project requires the supplier to undertake : (a) research and analysis to identify critical and emerging skills needs in India-s rooftop solar sector; (b) develop occupational standards for agreed job roles that are benchmarked to Australian standards and seek their adoption by Indian authorities; (c) develop competency-based curriculum and training products to support workforce training to address identified skills needs, that are benchmarked to the Australian Qualifications Framework; (d) deliver competency-based teacher training to trainers from Indian...
