The Pta Has A Large Number Of Turnouts And Special Trackwork Assets Within The Pta Railway Network. These Assets Are Critical To Pta Train Operations Therefore It Is Necessary For The Pta To Be Able To Procure These Products (And Subassemblies Or Components Within The Asset) In Order To:Construct New Assets As Part Of Network Upgrades;Renew Existing Assets As They Become Life-Expired; Andreplace Components Within Assets As They Wear Or Become Damaged.There Are A Large Variety Of Turnout Configurations Within The Pta Network Including Pta Standard Designs, Proprietary Designs From Different Turnout Suppliers And Legacy Design Configurations Designed By Western Australian Government Railways (Wagr) &Ndash; The Predecessor To The Pta.Pta Has An Ongoing Requirement To Procure Spare Parts To Maintain Existing Turnouts And Other Special Trackwork. The Pta Also Has An Ongoing Requirement To Purchase New Turnouts For Rail Network Extensions, Upgrades And Renewals.To Support This Purpose, The Pta Seeks Offers From Suitably Qualified Contractor(S) To Form A Panel Of Contractors For The Design, Manufacture, Supply And Delivery Of Turnouts And Supply Of Turnout Components
