Description:
This project involves replacing timber pier and bank-end/abutment structures to enhance safety and reliability on the Central Western System at 26 bridge locations between Emerald and Longreach.It aligns with the overarching asset management strategy to eliminate all timber piers and continues an intensive structure renewal program that has been in place for the past nine years. Since its commencement in 2013, this program has successfully replaced 97 timber bridges in the Central Western System.Additional information, including the tender criteria, can be found in the attached file.
