Description:
The State of Queensland, acting through the Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support, is seeking quotes for the establishment of a culturally responsive pilot program for young people with suspected or diagnosed neurodevelopmental disabilities who are in contact with the youth justice system including those interacting with Courts and Police. This response will help intervene and divert children from crime by providing a diagnosis and supports to the young person and their family. The Supplier must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander-led organisation or business (i.e. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people must make up more than 50% of the board or business owners) and must have an existing service delivery relationship with the local community in Cairns including a local staffing footprint.
