Description:
Australia is bidding to host the 31st UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP31) in late 2026 in partnership with the Pacific. The scale and complexity of COPs exceed any event the Australian Government has convened before. It is therefore essential that the government partners with specialist providers to ensure success. In the event of a successful bid, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water will require an experienced Event Management Contractor (EMC) to provide Event Management delivery services necessary to deliver an event to the scale of a COP. The EMC scope will include a range of key components including : Venue Operational Delivery & Site Management, Catering, Cleaning and Resource Recovery Services, Programming, Events and Presidency Support, Venue Design & Infrastructure, Protocol & Delegate Services, Digital, Creative & Event Experience, Fire, Health & Crowd Safety, ICT Resourcing, Media Operations and Broadcast Delivery, Host Country Agreement (HCA) staffing requirements, Information Desks, First Nations Engagement, Sustainability, Impact & Legacy, Accessibility, Inclusion and Wellbeing, Security, EMC Subcontractor Accreditation, Strategic Communications, COP31 Partnership, C3 Readiness & Event Control, Executive Office Briefing, and Induction Material.
