- The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR or the “Principal”) invites prequalified Tenderers at R2 (Major), F2 (Financial) and above category to submit a Tender for the construction of active transport facilities between Karrool street and Goode Street.The project aims to facilitate the crossing of the state-controlled network (Tor Street) and connect to the existing cycling facilities on Glenvale Road and Anzac Avenue through Karrool Street and Goode Street. The scope of work includes the construction of a concrete shared path along Karrool Street, the application of colored surface treatment on Goode Street, road surface delineation, installation of street lighting at pedestrian crossings, realignment of ramps, and modifications to the signalized pedestrian crossing, Providing pavement drainage (kerb).A pre-lodgement conference will take place at 10am on Tuesday 28th of January 2025 via Microsoft Teams. To obtain documents, eligible prequalified contractors must email: dd_pc@tmr.qld.gov.au to apply for access. Once approved, documentation will be made available at the BAS website: https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/bas/etender/.Submissions are to be lodged electronically via the tender site https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/bas/etender/ prior to 3:00pm on Tuesday 11th February 2025.
