- Townsville City Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out corrosion and coating repairs on the Primary Settlement Tank bridge at Councils Cleveland Bay Sewage Treatment Plant.A structural assessment provided identified numerous areas of corrosion on the painted steel bridge structure. TCC preferred repair methodology is to conduct spot repair of steelwork, blast and clean the structure, and apply a protective coating to minimize further corrosion and extend asset life.A mandatory site inspection is scheduled for 10:00am 8th April 2025.
