Australia Awards are prestigious, transformational scholarships and short courses offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders for development. Our international scholarships for Myanmar are a foundational feature of our bilateral relationship and have enabled over 400 leaders to study in Australia. The next iteration of Australia Awards Myanmar (2026-2029) will continue to contribute to development outcomes by engaging a Contractor to provide administrative and logistical support to the investment-s three core components : Australia Awards Scholarships; Australia Awards Short Courses; and Australia Awards Myanmar Alumni. The key outcome of Australia Awards Myanmar is to build the leadership and skills of the people of Myanmar, and strengthen our people-to-people links.
