Description:
The Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) requires an Asset and Maintenance Management contractor to carry out asset identification, asset mapping and maintenance policy document creation including safe work instructions to assist AIMS in managing its critical assets associated with the National Sea Simulation (SeaSim). The Contractor will need to map and verify all assets. Once all assets have been physically identified, confirmed and mapped in excel, MEX load files will need to be created and loading into MEX. In consultation with AIMS senior water plant operators the Contractor will identifying which assets require maintenance and develop inspection and maintenance policies to ensure the asset performs as per design from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This part of the process will be developed in accordance with the OEM recommendations and AIMS senior water plant operators to confirm the inspection, servicing, calibration and replacement strategies for the assets. Detailed safe work instruction documents will also need to be created to ensure maintenance is executed in safe and logical steps.
