- The department seeks innovative, value for money solutions from the market to administer and facilitate building control, certification and regulatory oversight services under the Airports Act 1996, the Airports (Building Control) Regulations 1996 and other relevant legislation and standards applicable to federally leased airports. Airport Building Controllers will act as the primary point of contact for building control at federally leased airports on behalf of the department, and provide high-quality, efficient and pragmatic service to regulated airports and proponents of building activities
