Description:
A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises below but not limited to the following:The works on Umbrawarra Road, Katherine Region, between Ch. 13.00 km and Ch. 28.00 km, comprise pavement rehabilitation by gravel resheeting at four(4) various sections. The resheeting locations are:Ch. 13.300 - 14.500 kmCh. 16.000 - 17.300 kmCh. 19.500 - 19.700 kmCh. 27.000 - 28.000 kmThe scope includes preparation of existing pavement, supply and placement of compliant gravel material, trimming and shaping, and compaction of resheeting layers in accordance with DLI Standard Specifications for Roadworks (DLI Specifications - Roads) and also Drawing CS‑3609. Drainage features (table and mitre drains) are to be cleaned, reinstated, and shoulder profiles tied in to ensure effective drainage and safe carriageway performance.
