Description:
Mount Barker District Council (the Council) invites tenders from suitably qualified parties for the Supply of Electricity (the Services) within the Mount Barker District Council local government area. The tender includes electricity supply contracts for large sites (above 160MWh/annum), small sites (below 160MWh/annum) and 12/24-hour unmetered sites (street lighting).Suppliers can elect to supply through a standard retail offer, a renewable Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), a Virtual Power Plant (VPP), and/or other innovative alternatives.The Council will enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer for a term from 1 to 10 years with the possibility of extensions, starting from 1st July 2025.Responses will be submitted in a staged approach. • Stage 1: Participants are required to submit their non-financial proposals, including Terms and Conditions, by 12pm 17 March 2025.• Stage 2: Participants who submitted a compliant non-financial proposal in Stage 1 will be invited to submit their financial proposals (energy rates and other charges) by 12pm 24 March 2025 via an invitation only link on Vendor Panel.
