Description:
GRC seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the supply of materials, labour, and equipment required for the partial replacement of water mains in Auckland Street. The scope consists of the replacement of approximately 921m of DN100 Cast Iron water mains and 440m of DN63 PVC service mains, inclusive of valves and fittings, with equivalent High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping and Ductile Iron (DI) fittings. The works include approximately 540m of DN100 Cast Iron water main that will be removed and in need of disposal as part of the works. The remaining 380m of existing water main will remain in place with new pipeline installed in an offset alignment. Refer to the tender documents for the full Scope of Works.
